Seeing as architecture has been my entire life for the past month I figured I would post what I’ve been working on.

So when I went to NYC I studied the New York Times building. The building was designed be Renzo Piano and went up in the last decade. One very noticeable thing about this building is the facade-it’s covered in luvres! Almost 200,000 of them.

Anyhow, so first I drafted the building in section, and then I modeled it. What you see here is the 1:1000 model of the NYT building in section and the surrounding city blocks.
